One By One

As I was getting dressed for an appointment, God said “tell Kelli (the receptionist) that she was created to create.” Huh? In the past 2 years, I have never had a word for Kelli nor said much more to her than hello or goodbye. Then I heard a bunch of random single words. “Artist. Creative. Writer. Children. Book. Crafts. Etsy. Sales. Training”

Me: Huh? Which one is it, God?
God: All of it.
Me: Nah. Can’t be.

Ever start getting a word and then it continues on longer than you expected so you think it must just be you? So I start trying to figure out what God said and what I added. On my 25 minute drive I kept asking God, to help ME put it together. What is she supposed to be creating? I got nothing more.

When I signed in, Kelli was alone so I whispered “Do you know what a word of knowledge is? Or prophecy?” “Ahhh no?” So I explained it and told her God had spoken to me this morning about her. Her eyes got wide and I started with what He told me. Then suddenly All of the single words came out ONE by ONE. Just like I heard. She was surprised and told me that she was kind of working on all of them but hadn’t gotten serious yet.

When I left she thanked me for the encouragement and said that she would sit her butt down and get going on it.

Good reminder to stop trying to figure everything out. You aren’t going to look stupid, crazy, or wrong If you get just one word. GIVE one word. If you get a string of them give them too… just like you heard them. Our brains just want to fill in the blanks so it makes sense TO us! Trust that as He speaks thru you the Holy Spirit will fill in the blanks and the receiver spirit’s lightbulb will turn on…. by no effort of your own.

How many times have you gotten just ONE word and then you opened up your mouth and He filled it? He isn’t holding out on you nor trying to see if you will trust or be obedient.

Sometimes we can’t handle a couple of paragraphs without our twist on it. If it comes out in REAL TIME our brains don’t have time to put our human twist on it. Get used to not having a script before He uses you. Half the fun is to see how and when He will speak or heal thru you.

Oh, and you aren’t being prideful if you get a kick out of being used by God! Or sharing your part in it! We all know it is God through you doing the healing. Relax religious police. Just know and trust that He gets a kick out of YOU enjoying being used by Him and sharing those stories.

Good Word

Food for Thought – February 12, 2022.
Good Morning Beautiful People: Start out your Saturday by not being pushed around by the fears in your mind. Be led by the dreams in your heart and pursue them with great vigor. Don’t be afraid of your fears. They’re not there to scare you. They’re there to let you know that something is worth it, worth the effort, worth the time and worth the fortitude.

Let us not forget that if we want to forget something or someone, never hate it, or never hate him/her. Everything and everyone that you hate is engraved upon your heart; if you want to let go of something, if you want to forget, you cannot hate. Every day, we have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter.

Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don’t even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It’s time to put an end to this and start loving those that show you’re a priority and not just an option.

It’s time to give love to those who give love to us through their actions. It’s time for us to let ourselves be loved. Take responsibility going forward for your own happiness, never put it in other people’s hands. Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward.

Lastly always remember this simple saying “If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.”💜💜💜

New Beginnings

Warning: End of the year ramble.

I was with a group of people last night and we hovered over a table filled with a variety of the usual end-of-the-year snacks. You know…. the ones that will never cross your lips again until you lose X amount of pounds. A couple of people kept saying “I can’t believe I keep eating this!” “This is sooooo bad for me!” “I’ve gained enough weight already!”. Oh yeah, and I might have been one of them. Finally, I said “Can we just not feel guilty for once about eating and just enjoy it? Just once?” Nothing goes better with spinach dip, chips, and poppers like a big ole side of GUILT. Maybe if we spank ourselves while shoveling it in, (as in don’t really taste or enjoy) maybe it doesn’t count. Like you have already done your penance so it can’t permanently land on your already big ……….. fill in the blank. 🙂 No? Just me? Ha! And why don’t men have this food guilt/shame gene? Or is this just a learned behavior our mamas didn’t teach us?

2022 will be better. I am believing it will. Trusting it will. It’s time to start living life again. Feeling hope, joy, and learning to enjoy the small things. Even if it is melted cheese stuffed into a jalapeno! I am really grateful for family, friends, and my relationship with Big Sky Daddy.

I am thankful that I am alive and still able to be used by God on this side of the realm. Instead of feeling bad about things that don’t really matter, in the long run, I am choosing to feel hopeful, excited, and expectant of new beginnings and possibilities.

This needs to trump everything.

Let’s stop sweating the small stuff. And it’s all small stuff.

Happy New Beginnings my Beloveds!
